Contact privacy

• Vendors never see a customer's phone, email or WhatsApp. Customers never see a vendor's. This rule survives payment and applies to Nia conversations, order threads and receipts alike.

Location

• **Discovery location** is a coarse area used to find nearby stores. It is never precise coordinates.
• **Transaction location** is the pickup address or delivery area an order needs, shown to both parties of that order only.
• **Live location sharing** exists only as an explicit choice during active fulfilment. When one party shares, the other party is told. The person sharing sees that sharing is on and can stop it at any time; it also stops automatically when the order completes, is cancelled, or the share expires.
• Precise live coordinates are deleted when sharing stops. They are never stored indefinitely.

Data

• Identity documents and identifiers submitted for verification are encrypted, shown masked, and used only for review.
• Conversation media and precise locations follow retention windows after which they are removed.
